Athlon is one of the largest leasing companies in the Netherlands. They have been working with us since 2005 to monitor the satisfaction of lease car drivers and fleet managers.
After important contact moments, such as the delivery of a new car or when carrying out damage repairs or maintenance, the lease driver receives a questionnaire. Some of the questions concern contact with Athlon and some concern the lease driver's experience with the garage, i.e. the service provider.
We talk to Wim Oostenenk, Account Manager Supplier Management at Athlon, about the collaboration.
What do you use the data from suppliers for?
Athlon is a chain director. This means that we do not repair cars ourselves, but outsource this work to our partners/suppliers in the best possible way. The satisfaction of the lease driver is very important to us, which is why we want to understand how our lease drivers experience the services of our partners. And we really try to help our partners in this regard! We conduct an evaluation with them at least once a year. We use the Feeddex data to determine whether, according to the lease driver, they have done their job well. This includes whether they met the agreed-upon deadline, whether the lease driver was well informed, etc. Based on this data, we discuss what actions are necessary and whether, for example, we need to draw up an improvement plan.
The responses from our lease drivers and the associated scores help determine whether and how many free orders for the delivery of new cars Athlon's supplier receives. It also helps determine the position the supplier gets in the online maintenance planner Servicetrack," says Oostenenk.
How do you use the Feeddex dashboard for this?
In addition to "hard" data such as costs from other data sources, I use Feeddex data for reporting to our suppliers. The Feeddex dashboards provide clear insights and are easy to use, but it took me a lot of time to transfer all those graphs into my own reports. I also wanted to be able to view the total for a dealer if they have multiple branches. That's why I approached Feeddex with my requirements for a specific supplier report."
How does that supplier reporting work?
"I must say, it's excellent. Feeddex has created a report in which I can select different processes, such as damage, maintenance, sales, but also supplier, location, supplier, and car brand. This report is automatically transferred to Excel so that I can integrate this data into my own report. This allows me to view all the necessary data at once, almost immediately. This means that I spend very little time compiling a report before a meeting with a partner. It's great that Feeddex has contributed its ideas and been able to realize this in collaboration with us!"
