Woonbron is a housing corporation with 45,000 homes in Rotterdam and the surrounding area for people on a narrow budget. After a tendering procedure with 10 different providers, Woonbron chose customer feedback specialist Feeddex in early 2021 to support it in mapping its tenants' living experience even better and optimizing customer satisfaction. In doing so, Woonbron felt the need for a new partner who could help take the next step.
Livability important goal for Woonbron
Livability of residential buildings is an important goal for Woonbron. No one lives for fun in an unsafe neighborhood. Therefore, keeping the residential buildings clean, whole and safe is an important aspect of the liveability and enjoyment of the residents.
For this reason, Woonbron annually measures whether everything is clean, whole and safe; in short, whether everything is as it should be. Is there dirt lying around in the porch or other common areas, is everything working properly and are there no unsafe situations?
Nevertheless, Woonbron asked itself a number of questions: How do the residents themselves experience their residential building? How does perception develop over time? Can we involve the residents in keeping the residential buildings clean, whole and safe? And is it possible to gain continuous insight?
With this in mind, Woonbron and Feeddex started the "Clean, Very and Safe" pilot project.

How does the Clean, Very and Safe pilot work ?
Feeddex came up with the idea of deploying instant feedback via QR codes in the porches. By simply scanning the QR code in the porch, the resident can now make a report directly, where they can attach photos so they can easily clarify what they want to report. The report is immediately forwarded to the complex manager so that the complaint can be known and resolved more quickly. A simple concept, but a big step toward accessibility.
For Woonbron, the QR code in the porch complements continuous customer satisfaction surveys. So instead of tenants having to wait to be approached with a feedback request, Woonbron is also giving its tenants the option to make a notification at any time.
What makes this pilot extra fun is that Woonbron will also test whether residents have an opinion about the residential building or the area where they live. Think for example of smiley buttons that you often see at Schiphol Airport: from green is 'very pleasant' to red is 'very unpleasant'. In this way, Woonbron gauges how people feel in and around their buildings.
As a result, Woonbron receives more feedback from residents and visitors and can better monitor how tenants feel in and around its buildings.
