Hello, my name is René Mijs. On May 13, 2013, I had a serious accident, and my brilliant mother recorded everything from my time in the hospital to my first rehabilitation center. I turned that into a documentary and a trailer.
Because of my accident, I had to spend a long time in various rehabilitation centers working on my recovery. At my last rehabilitation center, I worked at Coffyn, where I had a very pleasant time and was able to work hard on my recovery and discover a passion for coffee. I would like to recreate this workplace in the future, a workplace where people like me can work. Coffee gives people strength and helps them recover, the pleasure of a delicious cup of coffee in the morning and the aroma of freshly roasted beans. I want to share this love and passion with others. I also want to offer a fair price to local farmers in Sumatra, giving them the opportunity to build a better life for themselves. This passion for coffee and the idea of giving something back to others gave rise to the idea of Coffair. Delicious coffee at a fair price.
